Today I found out that one of my dreams seems to have come true. The ability to some day have my own 3D printer. Priced at 5000 USD, Desktop Factory’s printer seems like the next big gadget to buy.
I still have no clue what to use it for, but it would be fun to have one at the office. How many offices in Copenhagen actually sport a 3D printer without being deeply into engineering or stuff? :-)

At my office a very talented claymation artist introduced me to the concept of 3D printers some time ago. I think she was actually drooling as she spoke..
Also I guess that any designer creating corporate profiles would also looove to be able to sell 3D versions of logos to place in company receptions.
I wouldn’t know what to do with it - but WOW what a jealousy item. 3D fractals anyone?
