Times are really exciting at the moment. Not just because of the fact vacation is evidently soon, but also because Connecta is currently at an important turning point. It has now been about two years since Hans Henrik and I started solving tasks for various clients. We have since then become a lot more surden on what it is that we do and how we bring value to our clients. If you look at our current website, my guess is that you wouldn’t be able to tell what we’re really doing. The website text was written about a year ago when we really had no clue what the meaning of the company would become.
In order to further manifest that the company has matured, we recently chose to reinvent most of the company. The name is going to change. The identity is going to change. The website is most definitely going to change. What remains will be our thoughts and values, but in a completely new wrapping.
On the boring corporate side, we have chosen to become a joint-stock company (A/S) as some of you might have seen on our website. This brings a few positive things, for example we are currently structuring our board. We’re trying to find a way to put together a diverse board, diverse can mean a lot of things, but here’s a few keywords on the top of my wish list: young, old, women, men, ceo, hacker, etc. If everything goes as planned, it seems I am going to have a lot of those wishes fulfilled.
Going back to the core, it really all boils down to our identity. How do we express and explain what we do in a simple and meaningful way? What would you do to make the process easier? We are currently getting a lot of great help from Bjarne Tveskov, a man full of creative ideas and thoughts on how to encapsulate our values and meaning into one single word. If you ever need to find a name for a new company, product etc., try and call Bjarne first. His prices are reasonable, but the value that he brings is really priceless.
Hopefully I’ll be able to unveil our new identity, name and structure in fall. Now that the paperwork with the company is done, there’s only hard work left.

Tveskov rocks - I’d love to work with him at some point. Sounds exciting with all the plans - best of luck and welcome back to the sphere…
